The homeowners ordered all the materials they thought were needed and asked Post Remodeling to review the cabinet dimensions. The room itself was small and the layout was not changing.
The vanity ordered by the homeowner from Home Depot was damaged in transit. After a month, the replacement arrived. After arriving to begin the project, Post Remodeling found the following:
- Vanity was missing the “toe kick”.
- New medicine cabinet had a chipped mirror door.
- Vanity top was sized incorrectly and not usable.
- No padding ordered for cork floor.
- No new receptacles or switches provided.

In addition to the extra work required to correct the situation, some prior professional planning and product selection would have yielded a roomier, more functional powder room.
